Paul Anderson is a dedicated community leader, businessman, and longtime Sparks resident with a deep passion for honoring Nevada's heroes and giving back to the place he proudly calls home. As a two-term Sparks City Councilmember representing Ward 3, Paul brings seasoned leadership, a results-driven mindset, and a profound respect for service.

Paul’s roots in Northern Nevada run deep. Born and raised in the region, he moved to Sparks with his wife and high school sweetheart, Donna Iori, where they raised their two sons, Casey and Jesse.

His commitment to public service extends far beyond elected office. Paul previously served on the Nevada State Board of Agriculture, including four years as board chair, where he led impactful policy decisions for the State. He is also a proud and active volunteer with several local non-profits, including Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful, Summit Christian Church, and the Great Basin Chaplain Corps.

Paul’s passion for service, patriotism, and preserving community values makes him an ideal voice on the Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza board. He is honored to help ensure the sacrifices of Nevada’s fallen service members are remembered with dignity, gratitude, and permanence.
